I'd actually finished this piece a while ago, I just hadn't uploaded it because the daily struggles of life got in the way. But here it is!
The main idea - painting the roses red - obviously comes from the classic, Alice in Wonderland, though I've heard that this reminds people of Miss Havisham from Great Expectations, which I don't mind because she's one of my favourite deranged characters.
On to materials:
roses, skin, necklace, eyes - Letraset Promarkers and Shinhan markers
veil, transparent sleeves and collar - watered-down acrylic paint
background, blood - acrylic paint
lines - Sakura Micron pens in light brown
